Those with planets in Virgo or the other cardinal signs (Gemini, Sagittarius, Pisces) may be most affected by the current Mars Retrograde.  The influence may be felt as similar to a Mercury retrograde - which manifests as flubs and frustrations in the areas of your chart Mercury rules over.  In this case, Mars has to do with the use of energy and force, so there can be a more pronounced element of anger and frustration this time around.  Meditate!  Energy levels are actually at a high as Mars is closer to the earth in its retrograde cycle, so if you choose to blow off some steam with physical activity try to stay very conscious of your energy.  It can be a good time to re-start a physical regimen as long as you don't go to extremes.  Mars is retrograde until April 13th, and leaves the shadow (the lag period while Mars energy goes direct) on June 19th.

Many things played out this past year on the Economic side that were presaged with the Solar Eclipse of January 4th 2011 which happened to fall on the same day the 112th Congress met.  A sign of things to come: This Solar Eclipse had some major astrological configurations aligning with the U.S. Sibly chart - •This eclipse was at 13° 38´ of Capricorn. It's almost the exact opposition to the United States Sibly Chart Sun at 13° 19´ Cancer. This opposition took place in the houses that rule banks, bank loans, interest rates and relates to  taxes and the national debt. The 8th House rules wealth and prosperity of the people in their collective earning and buying power. This eclipse combination will intensify these issues in the first half of 2011. The most warlike and destructive planets Mars and Pluto surround the eclipse point, meaning it was "besieged".. having a dangerous lack of control, and destructive results.

The timeline of Uranus in Aries began when Uranus was in Aries earlier in 2010. It retrograded into Pisces, our delusional and deceived collective "sleep state", in mid August 2010. When Uranus went back into Aries on March 12, 2011, this 2nd ingress marked a new collective awareness; an awakening from the 'dream state' of the past 7 years while Uranus was in Pisces.  This mass awakening has already taken the form of anger (Aries) and riots in the Middle East and now with the protests on Wall Street and across many cities in the U.S.  Shocks as notions about our societal freedoms (square to Uranus) that have been cloaked in illusion (Uranus in Pisces), rise to our consciousness with a sudden urgency and need for change and upheaval (Pluto) of the status quo.  A chart reading can show how stressfully these alignments and other upcoming aspects will affect your chart.

The Grand Cross formation last year between five cardinal planets represented an extreme amount of pressure for change, letting go and new initiative.  There had been no other time in history where these 5 planets have formed a Cardinal Grand Cross.  The cardinal energy is about initiative to make change and revolution.   If you have planets or personal points at early degrees of the cardinal signs, you were especially affected and feel these energies.  A reading will define the best course of change to take and when to take it.

Pluto was part of the grand cross formation.  Pluto brings destruction, death and resurrection.. and while it is in the sign Capricorn, we can expect continued breakdowns of business and the economy.. and a slow rebuild over many years.  What we've seen so far is just the beginning.  The destruction from Pluto flattens things to the point of nothingness before the resurrection phase begins. The planetary alignments of the past year and the next few years greatly resemble those of the Great Depression from 1929 to 1931 and beyond.  As stated in my previous forecasts, prior talk of economic lift was a false signal that the world economy is stabilizing.  It will take many years before it will settle, and then it will likely be an entirely new system that may not resemble what we have now.

Put these two together and you'll easily see why there have been riots and uprisings within many countries in Europe the Middle East and across the U.S. now too. As stated in prior my forecasts, the whole world economy will be affected.  If this critical alignment is occurring conjunct any personal planets and or points on your chart, you will surely have many radical adjustments to make.  Many of us will need to allow change from a pre-determined course to enter our lives.
